The Who, what and why

Who: I have enjoyed expressing my creativity through clay ever since I took pottery classes in high school. I have focussed on hand building as I see that as a more expressive avenue of creativity. Recently I have endeavored to move from a hobby to a professional capacity. My daughter, who wishes to remain anonymous, is the one with the artistic talent that has created the gift card selections. The topic of the gift cards come from her own imagination and talent.



What: We offer hand built clay products that include wall hangings, usable products, masquerade masks and specialty items. The wall hangings currently consist of roses in various forms with the idea of providing warmth and character to any environment. Each wall hanging is unique. Some may appear to be similar but each has its own unique features from the clay used, the glaze and how the light and the clay interact. The usable products range from canisters for flour, sugar and the like to enhance any counter top. The masquerade masks are made from thinly pressed clay and shaped to provide a unique form. They are created to be a decorative piece to showcase, or wearable to liven up any party or both.



The cards are drawn providing a personalized touch. Some cards have messages already printed in them while others are blank to allow you to personalize your own message to touch the reader's heart.



The specialty gifts are items that provide elegance (necklaces) and humor (pre-dug hole). The necklaces stemmed from my granddaughter handing me two shells and being a loving grandfather I wanted them close to my heart so I made them into a necklace. The humor side of the specialy gifts stem from my inherited sense of humor.



Why: My desire is to share the creativity that has been given to me by the Lord through pottery, gift cards and other creative items. I hope you will find the products on this website enjoyable, pleasant and uplifting.
